[OSENWORLD] Rookie boy band AxMxP debuted not only with impact but with a record-breaking achievement.
According to Hanteo Chart, Korea’s largest album sales tracker, the group’s self-titled debut album sold over 63,000 copies in its first week. This marks the highest first-week sales for a band’s debut album since official tracking began.
Released on Sept. 10, AxMxP captures the colorful whirlwind of emotions that sweep into the otherwise gray daily lives of teenage boys. Across 10 tracks, the album delivers a candid exploration of youth, its challenges, and fleeting moments.
The group introduced themselves with three ambitious title tracks spanning different genres: the hip-hop-fueled “I Did It,” the poetic ballad “Love Poem” (너는 나를 시인으로 만들어), and the playful “Shocking Drama.” Together, they highlight AxMxP’s versatility and confidence as a band to watch.
AxMxP are currently promoting their debut on music shows, performing “I Did It” with charisma and drawing enthusiastic support from fans.
