[OSENWORLD] The 2025 Taiwan Beats Showcase in Seoul ended on a high note, drawing industry leaders and fans to Itaewon’s Cityback on Sept. 11. Hosted by the Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA), the showcase highlighted the expanding ties between the Korean and Taiwanese music industries.

More than 270 people filled the venue, including key representatives from Warner Music Korea, Sony Music Entertainment Korea, Sony Music Publishing Korea, YG PLUS, The Great Escape Festival, AXEAN Festival, Magic Strawberry Sound, and Makeus (Dingo), alongside executives from Taiwan’s TEN Entertainment, Sound of Tomorrow, O.DOT Music Studio, Cromeleon Entertainment, and East Town Music.

The performances underscored the vibrancy of Taiwan’s music industry. Ander, a Best New Artist nominee at the Golden Melody Awards; Linion, winner of Best R&B Album at the Golden Indie Music Awards; and I’mdifficult, recognized for Best Alternative Pop Album at the same ceremony, each delivered high-energy performances that drew loud cheers from the crowd.

Beyond the music, the showcase opened the door for collaboration. Korean labels, agencies, and promoters met with Taiwanese counterparts to explore co-productions, festival participation, and joint projects that could expand both industries’ global reach.

Taiwanese executives spoke positively about the event. Sally of TEN Entertainment said, “This event allowed us to meet partners from many different fields. We look forward to expanding partnerships beyond borders.” Leezy Huang, founder of Sound of Tomorrow, added, “We will share these results with our artists and build long-term growth in the Korean market.” Elaine Wang, co-founder of Cromeleon Entertainment, emphasized, “We plan to use these insights to help our artists expand onto the global stage.”

Held alongside MU:CON, Korea’s largest international music conference, the showcase was co-organized by HYPEER — a Korean music marketing and label under Kreators Network — and Taiwan Beats, Taiwan’s global music export brand.
